Ingredients:
All purpose flour -500gms
Baking powder -1/4 tsp
Baking soda -1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp
Pepper powder -1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Butter/margarine -200gms
Egg -2
Sugar -1 dsp
(I used Splenda no calorie sweetner)
Food color -a pinch
Chopped cashews -2 dsp
Chopped greenchillies -1 dsp
Chopped Ginger -1 tsp
Chopped corander leaves -1 tsp
Chopped mint leaves - 1 tsp
Method:
Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
Combine flour,baking soda,baking powder,garam masala powder,pepper powder and salt in a small bowl.
Beat butter,sugar, eggs and food color in a large mixer bowl.Gradually beat in the flour mixture.Stir in the chopped green chillies,chopped cashews,chopped corainder leaves,chopped mint leaves and chopped ginger.Mix it well.Roll out the dough in slightly floured surface for about 5 mm thickness.Cut it out to any shape using a cookie cutter.Place it in an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until it is done.Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes;remove to wire racks to cool completely.
